اهلا وسهلا لكم!

قررت أن أنشأ بلوج عن سفري في مصر والشرق الأوسط.  طلبت مني اسرتي وبعض من اصدقائي أن أطلعهم على مغامراتي في مصر ولكنني عارضت لأنني أتذكر البلوج من الماضي الذي كان فشل كبير وكنت خائف بلوج أخر سيكون نفس الشيء.  وبالاضافة ذلك ما أرادت أن أكتب بالانجليزية كثيرا ولذلك قد قررت عدم كتابة بلوج.  ألان أغيّر وجهة نظري... من المهم أن أطلع أسرتي وأصدقائي على تجاربي في مصر ولكن لا يزال لا أريد أن أكتب بالانجليزية -- السبب الرئيسي للسفر هو تحسين اللغة العربية وأنا متعهد به كلية.  ولذلك هذا البلوج حلّا.  فيه يمكن أن أمرّن العربية وأن أحدّث عائلتة وأصدقائي عن حياتي.  بالتأكيد لا أحد من أسرتي وقليل من أصدقائي سيفهمون هذا البلوج ولهم translate.google.com عطية من الله!   أتمنى أن أكتب على الأقل مرتين كل اسبوع كجزء من واجبي.  سأكتب تفاصيل السفر غدا.

Unfortunately for you, this will be the last words of English you will read on my blog, but that does not mean you cannot stay updated!  It does, however, require a bit of additional effort on your part.  If you look to the right side of the page, there are a few buttons.  The top one is "Translate," select "English."  It is a computer translation, so you will not be able to appreciate my Arabic eloquence but I hope it will suffice (it's worked pretty well for Arabic homeworks to this point...)  If the translation is incomprehensible, leave a comment and I will clarify in English.  Better yet, skype me for clarification! (Note to Grandma: You can't use my blogs as an excuse to skype me all the time!)
